Jan Nordkvist

Medically certified Physio- and Sports Massage Therapist | Japanese Lifting Therapist | Hotstone, Gua Sha, Cupping, Sports Acupuncture & Ear Acupuncture/Auriculotherapy

JAN NORDKVIST

I am a graduate of AM Massage School with the title of medically certified physiotherapy and sports massage therapist (physiotherapy, connective tissue and sports massage) and registered alternative therapist (RAB). I have also taken courses in, among other things, trigger point massage, special educational and children's massage, cupping, Gua Sha and sports acupuncture.

My massage is deep and with good pressure – but always adapted to the individual client, and I also offer a gentle and effective treatment if that suits you better.

Calmness and presence are the core of the massage I offer. Everyday life is often long and fast, and in the midst of it most of us miss calmness and presence. Stress off, fall down, and find your core again – that is my focus. Massage is important for everyone: it releases the hormone oxytocin, which reduces stress, and it increases concentration and gives a better feeling for your body.

I am a trained school teacher and have worked in special education. In addition, I have many years of experience from the healthcare industry and close contact with several of the leading nursing and medical societies.

I OFFER:

  • Full body or back, shoulder and neck massage as well as chest and face – 30 or 60 min.
  • Holistic massage, where we get it all right – 90 min.
  • Children's massage – 30 min.
  • Japanese Lifting – 60 min.
  • Targeted massage for tension headaches, back and lower back pain, vein pump massage, facial massage and special educational massage (ADHD, Asperger's, etc.)
  • Ear acupuncture and auriculotherapy

Benefits of receiving massage:

  • You feel seen and validated.
  • You increase your body awareness and self-esteem
  • You get the opportunity to relax and increase your attention span
  • Increased concentration is achieved

  • You become less aggressive and more tolerant of your surroundings.
