How to use the heating pad
If you are using your heating pad for relaxation or well-being, or on sore, aching or tense muscles for pain relief, you should heat the pad. It can also be used for cooling. You can heat the pad in different ways.
- Microwave on highest power for 1½ to 3 minutes depending on the size of your cherry pillow.
- oven 10 – 15 min at 100 – 125 C ° max.
When placing the cherry pillow on the body, it is a good idea to have a tea towel in between. If you use it on children or animals, keep an eye on them to see if they are more sensitive to the heat. Feel the pillow yourself first before using it on others.
The pillow is placed where you want the warm effect. You can lie down, sit up or walk around with it. It can easily stay put even if you walk around and do other things. There are straps to tie it in place. If you use it in front of the computer, it can help relieve a sore neck, or relax tense muscles in the forearm. Your nervous system can be calmed by placing the warm pillow on your spine. It becomes warm and soothing.
If you choose to use the cherry cushion as a cooling aid for sports injuries, you can do so in the following ways: Use a refrigerator or freezer to cool the cushion.
- The cherry bag should be placed in a freezer bag and placed in the refrigerator for at least 1 to 2 hours. It can be left there for longer. The cold bag can be placed directly on the skin.
- If you put it in the freezer, you should also put it in a freezer bag and again for a minimum of 1 to 2 hours. When you need to use it, remember to put a tea towel between it and your skin.
When you need to clean it, it can be washed in the washing machine, but make sure it is placed in a pillowcase and that it is tied tightly. Damage to the cherry pillow may occur.
