Reusable ice bag

– effective cold treatment for acute injuries and swelling

This reusable ice pack is suitable for rapid cold treatment of acute injuries such as sprains, blows and overuse. Cold helps reduce swelling, relieve pain and reduce muscle tension in the injured area.

The ice pack can also be used warm to relax tense muscles, thus providing a flexible solution for both acute and long-term discomfort.

Benefits of the ice pack

  • Suitable for acute injuries and sports injuries
  • Reduces swelling and pain
  • Helps with sprains and bruises
  • Can be used for muscle tension and myosis
  • Can be used both cold and hot
  • Reusable and easy to carry

Application – cold treatment

Cold therapy is typically recommended for:

  • acute tissue damage after a blow or impact
  • sprains and strains
  • swelling in joints and muscles
  • overload
  • muscle cramps and tension

Activate the ice pack by pressing the inner liquid bag and then place it on the affected area with a layer of cloth between the skin and the bag.

For larger injuries, the treatment can last up to approximately 60 minutes at a time. For general pain relief, up to approximately 30 minutes per treatment is recommended.

Application – heat treatment

The ice pack can also be used for heat treatment for:

  • tense muscles
  • stiffness in the neck and shoulders
  • sore areas after physical activity

Heat can help increase blood circulation and provide a relaxing effect on the muscles.

How does cold therapy work?

Cold causes blood vessels to constrict in the injured area. This reduces swelling and dampens the body's reaction to an injury. At the same time, nerve activity is reduced locally, which helps relieve pain and tension.

When treatment is completed, blood flow increases again and supports the body's natural healing process.

Important to be aware of

  • Always use a layer of cloth between skin and ice pack
  • Avoid direct contact with skin for prolonged periods.
  • Do not use if you have reduced sensitivity to cold.
  • Stop treatment if the skin reacts strongly.
